Executive Chef Ken Biffar helms the kitchen at the acclaimed River North Italian eatery, Siena Tavern in addition to sister restaurant, Bar Siena, while working under his mentor, Chef Fabio Viviani. Chef Biffar caters to over 1000 guests per day ensuring each dish is cooked to perfection. He has worked with Chef Viviani as his right-hand man for more than a decade learning from the celebrity chef while keeping the restaurant relevant, developing new dishes and retaining customer satisfaction. Siena Tavern has continued to receive numerous accolades including “10,000 Square Foot Modern Italian Powerhouse,” by Thrillist and “Best Chicago Pizza” by About.com.
